Hot Chocolate Milan: Enrico Rizzi's proposals

Drinking a good hot chocolate in Milan is not so easy: in fact, often you find yourself reluctantly sipping on broths that are too liquid or gulping down standardised chocolates that are indistinguishable from one another.

As in all his creations, Enrico Rizzi wanted to focus on excellence. And at the end of a very long search for the best ingredients and the right balances to obtain perfect aromas and consistencies, the chef patissier finally offers his new line of Hot Chocolates in the boutique with an open artisan laboratory in via Correnti 5 in Milan.

Hot Chocolate: the presentation in via Correnti in Milan

The new gourmet hot chocolate flavors will be presented on Saturday, January 13th during an exclusive event already sold out, during which Enrico Rizzi Milano customers will have the opportunity to taste 5 different chocolates. Given the huge demand, the event will then be repeated shortly on a date yet to be determined.

Enrico Rizzi's hot chocolates, which will be available in the Milanese boutique at least until Easter, are all prepared with lactose-free milk , so all the dark chocolate ones are suitable for those who are lactose intolerant (the milk and white ones instead contain powdered milk in the chocolate).

For his creations, Enrico wanted to focus on essentiality, using only a few ingredients to give maximum emphasis to the quality of the raw material , namely cocoa. In addition to the aforementioned milk, gourmets will therefore find in their cup only pure chocolate, potato starch for density and, in some cases, a touch of sugar.

Rare Chocolates

Four different varieties of the highest quality cocoa, already used in the new line of chocolate bars .

  • Bianca Glaciar Colombia 35% , with intense notes of cocoa beans
  • Limeira Brazil Milk 50% , with notes of malt and caramel
  • Dark ER 2023 71.4% , with good aroma, bitterness and hints of toasted dried fruit
  • Tumaco Colombia 85% dark chocolate , bitter with sweet tones and cocoa notes

Henry's Symphonies

Enrico's famous Symphonies , unusual combinations of fine raw materials, re-proposed in a hot chocolate version.

  • Aomori Symphony : White chocolate with MatCha green tea from Kyoto district and toasted black sesame
  • Symphony of the Gourmet : caramel chocolate, cocoa nibs and Maldon salt
  • Sinfonia delle Calandre : white chocolate with saffron and licorice
  • Sicilian Symphony : almond chocolate, orange blossom, candied citrus fruit and jasmine
  • Sinfonia Maracaibo : Milk chocolate and passion fruit
