Enrico Rizzi opens his Chocolate Factory

Enrico Rizzi opens La Fabbrica del Cioccolato , the first artisanal From Bean to Bar laboratory in the heart of Milan , located in via Giangiacomo Mora, just 10 minutes walk from the central Piazza del Duomo.

Inside, Enrico Rizzi and his collaborators work the chocolate from the roasting of the cocoa beans to the packaging, passing through all the intermediate phases such as refining and conching.

Starting from the best cocoa beans , sourced from selected plantations around the globe, from Venezuela to the Philippines, Enrico creates artisanal chocolate bars of the highest quality.

Chocolate Experience

To help spread the culture of cocoa in Milan and Italy, Enrico Rizzi has decided to open his Chocolate Factory to the public. The simply curious and chocolate enthusiasts can discover all the phases of cocoa processing during the brand new Chocolate Experience.

An immersive journey in VR360

At the beginning of the visit, thanks to an exclusive 360° immersive video, visitors equipped with virtual reality viewers will make their way through the rainforest until they reach a cocoa plantation in the heart of Peru .

Here they will discover what cocoa trees are made of and how they are grown, what the fruits look like and how the precious beans are obtained from them, the actual ingredient at the base of chocolate.

Visit to the cocoa processing area

Once the video is over, visitors will be guided through an educational tour inside the Chocolate Factory, discovering the machinery needed to produce cocoa and witnessing the different stages of production : roasting, refining, mixing the ingredients, conching, packaging.

Single origin chocolate tasting

The Experience continues with the tasting of some single-origin bars produced on site, so as to fully understand how many shades chocolate can take on.
